From day one GEMS Engineering Limited have given back to the community. In the last 15 years or so GEMS Engineering have continued to sponsor over two dozen different causes and charities, either directly or indirectly.

We have provided team strips or sportswear to almost a dozen youth teams from Ayrshire to Glasgow and Edinburgh, from golf to football. We have also supported causes from McMillan Nurses to Cash for Kids.

We recently made a donation to Baillieston Care Home for their annual fundraising Bingo Night & Raffle on 22nd August 2019. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the resident’s comfort/ social fund. This allows the home to provide more entertainment outings, social events and activities for the residents. We are glad we were able to make a donation and help towards the fundraising night.

On 30th August 2019, Gems Engineering entered a team and participated in Lovell Homes Charitable Golf Day at Drumpellier Golf Club. All raised funds raised were donated to St Aidans Shinning Stars to help enhance the lives and learning environment for autistic children within St Aidan’s Learning and Communication Centre within St Aidan’s Primary School.

It is our commitment to continue to support these projects in the future and we will always give something back to the communities that need it most.
